ICEPLANET Summer Camp 2026

Important Information for Participants – Weeks 27 to 32

Dear Athletes, Parents and Coaches,

The entire ICEPLANET Team is looking forward to welcoming you to Andorra for another exciting summer of training, development, friendship and unforgettable memories.

As we approach the start of the camp, please take a few minutes to carefully read the following important information.

Accommodation & Arrival Information

For Summer 2026, our official camp hotel will be:

Hotel Font d'Argent

The hotel is located only a few meters from our previous hotel and offers the same convenient access to all camp activities.

Check-in

  • Sunday from 15:00 onwards

Check-out

  • Saturday after lunch ( for weeks 27 to 30 only)

Athletes participating in our All-Inclusive Program will be welcomed by the ICEPLANET staff upon arrival.

Athlete Supervision

For Weeks 27 to 30, ICEPLANET provides a dedicated team of experienced nannies and camp supervisors.

Our staff supervise athletes:

  • Outside training sessions

  • During daily activities

  • During transfers between the hotel and training facilities

  • Throughout the entire camp experience

This supervision is provided 24 hours a day, allowing athletes to enjoy a safe, structured and positive environment throughout their stay.

Sunday Information Meeting

Every Sunday evening, an Information Meeting will be held at the hotel.

During this meeting we will:

  • Introduce the coaching and support teams

  • Explain camp organization

  • Review camp rules and expectations

  • Answer questions from athletes and parents

  • Organize any remaining private lesson requests

  • Present the weekly schedule and logistics

Attendance is mandatory for all athletes and strongly encouraged for parents present on-site. This meeting is an important part of the camp experience and ensures that everyone starts the week with the same information and expectations.

Training Equipment

Please bring:

Skating Equipment

  • Skates

  • Training clothes

  • Competition dresses/costumes if required

  • All usual skating equipment

Off-Ice Equipment

  • Running shoes

  • Jump rope

  • Spinner

Clothing

Andorra is located in the mountains at high altitude.

Summer temperatures can be warm during the day, but weather conditions may change rapidly. Mountain storms and cooler temperatures are common, especially in the evenings.

We recommend bringing clothing suitable for:

  • Summer conditions

  • Cooler autumn-like temperatures

  • Rainy weather

A light jacket or sweatshirt is highly recommended.

Locker Rooms

Athletes will have access to locked changing rooms.

To help maintain organization and safety:

  • Training equipment should remain in the locker rooms whenever possible.

  • Please do not leave equipment unattended in public areas.

Please ensure all personal belongings are clearly identified.

Private Lessons & Additional Services

Athletes interested in additional training opportunities may arrange them during the Sunday Information Meeting if not already booked.

Additional options include:

  • Private on-ice lessons

  • Electrical Rotator training

  • On-ice harness sessions

  • Off-ice harness sessions

  • Skating Skills development

  • Technical training

  • Live video analysis on the ice

  • Program polishing

  • New program creation

  • Competition preparation sessions

Availability depends on coach schedules and ice availability.

European Health Insurance Card

For participants holding a European passport, we strongly recommend obtaining the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) before travelling.

This card can significantly simplify and accelerate reimbursement procedures should any medical care become necessary during the camp.

Please contact your national health insurance provider for information on obtaining the card.

Palau de Gel Access

The Palau de Gel building is currently undergoing a major renovation project.

The ice rink remains fully operational and accessible; however, access routes inside the building have been modified.

For participants who are not enrolled in the All-Inclusive Program, we strongly recommend meeting the ICEPLANET staff at the hotel on the first day of camp so we can guide you through the updated access procedures.

Parent Viewing Areas

Due to the ongoing renovation works, the usual bar area overlooking the rink is currently unavailable.

To allow families to follow training activities, designated spectator periods will be available each day, during which parents may access the stands to watch sessions from the grandstands.

Further details will be provided during the Sunday Information Meeting.

Group Placement & Schedule Information

To ensure the highest quality training environment:

Weekly Timetables

Training schedules will be published on our website approximately 6 days before the beginning of each camp week.

Group Composition

Training group lists will be published on our website the day before check-in.

Group Adjustments

All groups are reviewed after the first day of training.

Adjustments may be made by the coaching team to:

  • Improve training quality

  • Maintain appropriate skill levels

  • Ensure the best learning environment for every athlete

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility during this process.

Room Change Requests

We understand that athletes may wish to request room changes after arrival.

To allow our accommodation team to organize the camp efficiently, room changes can only be considered after the first day of camp.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Expectations & Camp Culture

ICEPLANET is committed to creating an environment where athletes can thrive both on and off the ice.

We ask all participants to demonstrate:

  • Punctuality
