Competing with Aleksandra Zvorigina, he established himself among the leading Polish ice dance athletes of his generation.
Following the conclusion of his competitive career, Maciej transitioned into coaching in 2014, bringing with him a strong technical foundation, international experience, and a deep understanding of both ice dance and solo ice dance disciplines. He has since developed into a respected coach and choreographer within the Polish skating system.

His coaching approach combines precision in skating skills with a strong emphasis on musical interpretation, performance detail, and competitive readiness.
He has also further enriched his expertise through collaboration with leading coaches and specialists in the discipline, including international training experiences in Russia, where he gained additional insight into high-performance ice dance development methodologies.
Today, Maciej Bernadowski is part of the coaching team at KS “EDGE” Skating Academy, where he works in both ice dance and solo ice dance, as well as choreography.
